To Cellect or Not To Cellect

Hi everybody,

I hope your day has gone well! I'm Ann and this is my journey with thyroid cancer.

As some of you know, I have been taking a supplement called 'Cellect'. It's very expensive, and tastes horrible, but I've read about it, follow them on their Facebook site, and have high hopes that it will work. I still eat an organic, vegan diet. I've just added Cellect to the mix. I recently had quite a few tests, and as I write this post, I am awaiting the outcome. Once I have the results I will be faced with the question of whether or not to continue the supplement.

Last time I went to see my endocrinologist I was told the cancer is growing. It seemed to have slowed down, but because of the growth, a PET scan was ordered. The pet scan will show more precisely how active the cancer is and when I might have to start to worry. I also had blood work, two CT scans, and an ultrasound.

So back to my question - To Cellect or not to Cellect? When I started this new protocol I was told it would take some time for it to work, but the representative also said I should see some results in about 4 months. It has been about four and a half months since I started Cellect, so I'm hopeful, but I'm nervous too. Another thing I was told is the cancer could appear worse because it may swell as it goes through apoptosis (cell death). So what if the reports show this? Is it apoptosis or is the cancer growing?? Once I see the results I will have to decide how to proceed. The scary thing is, I want to be sure I'm doing the right thing.

As soon as I can I will let everyone know the outcome of the tests. I can only be sure the Cellect is working if the cancer is decreasing in size. Staying the same doesn't mean much with thyroid cancer - but if that's the case, I'll take it! It's surely better than it getting larger or spreading.

Please cross your fingers and say a little prayer for me. For now, wishing you health and happiness!!
