Hello everyone, I hope you are having the best November yet! It’s Annie and this is my journey with thyroid cancer.

It is Sunday, November, 20th. I’m scheduled to have my tests done tomorrow. It’s been 5 months since I started this journey to combat thyroid cancer. Tomorrow is the first step in finding out if the changes I’ve made in my life are helping me to heal and rid my body of cancer. I am excited and nervous. As much as I believe this diet will work, there is always that bit of doubt. I was raised believing cancer is powerful and is a death sentence. Although this isn't always true, people with cancer have a hard road in front of them. I’m hoping the strength of nutritional food will be more powerful and help me to beat this dreaded disease.

As some of you know, I’ve been following the Gerson Diet as much as I can afford. I started this attack on my cancer cells in June of this year. The diet involves drinking juices and eating plenty of organic vegetables. In addition, I drink Essiac Tea, use essential oils, take vitamins, chlorella, and probiotics. I also do daily coffee enemas.

This diet can be difficult. I have to clean vegetables, juice, and cook daily for freshness. Then there's the clean-up! It is very time consuming. Additionally, drinking the same juices everyday is hard, as are the coffee enemas. With that being said, if this diet works, it's definitely worth it.

One of the things I do to keep myself motivated is to watch videos. I have signed up to receive emails from many different people I believe are knowledgeable. I read or watch their posts almost daily. I have learned so much and am so grateful there are people out there doing some of the research for me. I also talk to anyone I can about my situation. I used to keep my problems to myself, but have found that sharing is a great thing. The people that I know are so smart and have shared so much information and insight. I am grateful for these experiences. I am also blessed with a wonderful and supportive family.

Please say a prayer for me. For now, wishing you health and happiness!
